Philosophy of Care

“I always wondered why somebody didn’t do something about that, then I realized I am somebody.” ~source unknown

I went into nursing to help people, to love people, to care for people and help them be the best they can be…best health, best mental status, and not only content with life, but large and in charge…a proactive choice to live, and really live, not just exist and get by with fog brain, stress, ill health and pain. None of that can occur without holistic health. Mind, body and spirit all play a vital role in the happiness of an individual. One’s ability to “show up” is extremely hindered if not impossible with today’s societal norms relative to health care (sick care).

Unfortunately I discovered that the glorified position of a nurse is often today merely a pawn in the catastrophy of “health” we face in America. This intuition was further confirmed when faced with a health crisis in my infant daughter in 2010. It was through this experience of healing my daughter naturally that I was inspired to continue my search for truth in medicine. It’s an outrage. Practicing in a conventional setting really creates an ethical conflict within me. I did not want to turn my back on nursing…I still yearn to help people heal…and truly heal with God in the driver’s seat. I want to help you discover the root cause of your ailments through self-education, enabling your body to be a self-healer as God designed. I want you to see how to balance the body from the inside out and how to use food as medicine. Food can be either medicine or poison to the body.

I do not want to be a part of the “mask the symptom” facade of medicine. Don’t get me wrong, there is a place for the technology of medicine, but it certainly should not be the first line of care and it is my hope to guide you from ever arriving at a point where that is your only option. When someone presents to the ER with a ruptured aneurysm or gallbladder, heart attack or stroke, it’s too late to choose the better route…prevention. Many patients find out all too late that there were other options for prevention AND healing. People have the right to know that God designed us to spontaneously heal and that He placed something on this earth to heal any ailment…someone must be their advocate. I want to help break the mold and bring awareness to natural healing to spread a love for life, free of disease-ridden deaths, across our community. I want to see less mothers unknowingly contributing to their children’s ailments, and more mothers empowering themselves with knowledge on how to keep their children healthy. It is heart wrenching and I don’t want to see it anymore. I want change.
